Santa Monica Pier - 100 Year Anniversary

The Santa Monica Pier celebrated it's 100th year Anniversary on September 9, 2009.

The Santa Monica Pier opened to the public in 1909. One hundred years later people still flock to the Pier - just to walk to the end and back. Many people come to see the carousel, rides and games, or to fish for the day's dinner.

Here you will find a sampling of the some of the spectacular events that occurred during the Centennial Celebration and we hope these photos help you to feel like you were there.

At the Temecula Rod Run we found 100's of some of the finest classic automobiles and hot rods on the west coast in Old Town from Arch to Arch. The automobiles were freshly detailed and ready to be seen and heard! There was good music and great food at this Fall's event.
